The Winner

  1. The winner will be chosen at the discretion of an appointed panel of WorldRemit judges.
  2. The winning video will be the video judged as the most compelling and engaging video from the pool of all eligible entries. In deciding which video will win the Competition, the WorldRemit judges will, in particular, be looking for a video that tells a story, the relevant parts of which will be:
    1. the distance between you and your friend/family member;
    2. the location where your friend/family member (whom you'd like to visit) lives; and/or
    3. the length of time that has passed since you last saw your friend/family member.
    Based on these criteria, the WorldRemit judges will make a subjective decision on which entrant is the winner.

    1. WorldRemit may conduct all checks it deems necessary to ensure that you and your entry are appropriate to claim the Prize;
    2. you may be accompanied on your trip by members of the WorldRemit team; and
    3. WorldRemit may film and otherwise record your journey and reunion with your friend/family member.
  4. You grant WorldRemit the right to use your name and recorded likeness in any media, promotion, publicity, advertising or platform of our choosing. You confirm that you will cooperate fully with us, including with our film team while they make a recording of your trip. You agree that we may use your name and/or image for these purposes and that you will not be paid.
  5. The winner will be notified by email and/or direct message on Facebook within thirty 30 days of the Closing Date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize within three (3) days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the offer of the Prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
